Sudarshan Meenakshi

Bio-medical Specialist

Sudarshan Meenakshi Sundharam completed his Electronics Engineering, and is a holder of post graduate diploma in Dialysis Technology from Georgian College, Canada.

Currently working at Toronto General Hospital, University Health Network, since year 2001. Sudarshan is certified by the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists, also is an active member of the Canadian Board of Examiners for Biomedical Engineering and Dialysis Technologists and Technicians, Ontario, Canada.

Sudarshan is a faculty of the School of Engineering Technology and Applied Science, designed a syllabus for dialysis and water treatment system and teaches at Centennial College, Toronto, as well he conducts an online course to become a dialysis technician program at Georgian College, Barrie, Ontario

Most of his graduate students work at various hospitals in Canada. Sudarshan published and presented renal engineering related articles about “home hemo program, reprocessing dialyzers, disaster prevention and procedures, and technical challenges of home hemo program” at various reputed institutions across Canada.

Pranav Sudarshan

High School Student

Pranav Sudarshan, a grade 12 student living in Vaughan, Ontario. I have pretty much been volunteering since I was 10 years old. I have done many fundraising activities, In grade 8, I had fundraised $150 for a women’s empowerment organization called Dancing Damsels. In grade 9, I had fundraised $1500 for Lions Camp Dorset for end stage renal dialysis patients. Recently, I have volunteered for Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, ON under the MAUVE program, which improves the quality of hospital life for elderly patients. I love helping out people and doing a service for my community. I am fluent in Tamil and English.

I have been learning Southern Indian Classical music when I was at 8 years old. Currently I am learning Silambam (Indian Tamil Martial arts) under the guidance of Master Chandramouliswar Vijayakumar.
